YOKOHAMA TIRE

It’s difficult for many agencies to resist the urge to ignore established brand guidelines in an attempt to “wow” the customer with a new idea - the goal to hopefully acquire more billable hours to do new things. New things are cool, sure, but when a client asks us to match their brand guidelines - we do exactly that. For Yokohama Tire, this meant interpreting, reverse-engineering, and applying their brand to a new web property.

Every little detail counts - and we didn’t have access to some big corporate repo of “approved” files. So, our first task was to navigate their existing web properties and start an inventory of existing type styles, image treatments, and other pieces of their UX and UI. Then, we pop into Figma and started recreating everything, piece by piece.
